::Very cool old hotel in a perfect location. Very close to great restaurants and walking streets. Room was very large and comfortable. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Great place to stay in Ansbach.

::Not a review writer but can't say enough how pleasant the entire staff was. Great location. Would highly recommend.

::Lovely staff, beautiful room. Nice breakfast, even got a piece of Schwarzwaldtorte for dessert! I highly recommend this hotel.

::Fabelhaft! Beautiful historic hotel in the heart of the Ansbach Altstadt. Rooms are recently updated but still in luxe antique style, very romantic, with quality linens. Very friendly, welcoming staff, and typical German breakfast with quality breads, plus bacon and eggs to order on request. Consistent and strong WiFi. Only caveat is you must be able to manage the spiral staircase, but the staff offered to assist with luggage if needed.

::The staff was very kind, friendly, and welcoming. However their website doesn't match what our room provided. Their "paid parking" is a voucher you buy to stick in your window and park anywhere you can find parking in the street only during overnight hours. They do not have their own lot, that you pay to park in. Our room was so small, the double bed took up the entire room. The walls are covered in a padded fabric, that around the windows had water damage and big brown stains. None of the windows had screens, so being on the top floor we couldn't open the windows at night to let air in without getting bit all night by bugs. It's definitely not elderly or child friendly, because the stairs going up and down to your room are dangerously small. Our room wasn't level and there was a 2 inch floor difference from the bathroom- walking into the bedroom, and I slammed my foot in the middle of the night - bleeding everywhere. There wasn't a shower in the bathroom, and all faux marble flooring so it was very slippery trying to get out of a tall bath tub. For safety concerns, they should look into getting adhesive ducks. We didn't have a fridge or hot water pot or any extra amenities in our room, so for the 120 euro we paid, we thought it was outrageously overpriced for fake luxury.
