::Pleasant small hotel located 5 mins from Olsberg town centre. Old but well maintained hotel, clean basic rooms with TV, heating, basic bathroom and cupboard for storage. The hotel has a restaurant that offers complimentary continental breakfast and a restaurant that operates dinner service. The restaurant offered delicious German cuisine and good space to get together with friends.

::Stayed for two nights as a group of motorcyclists from the UK (the hotel caters for bikers). The rooms are very nice and recently refurbished. Location is OK but the town does not have much to offer anyway. Dinner was included in our package and the food was very average. The breakfast was much nicer with good choice of items. However, the manager and the bar restaurant staff were pretty awful. Everything had to be done the way they wanted, communication was like they were addressing naughty children (we are all retired professionals in our group!), we just felt like we they could not wait to get rid of us! Interestingly, they had a much nicer attitude towards a group of German bikers! Shall not be returning. And by the way: my view is shared by the whole of my group and it has been expressed in our club magazine in the post trip review.

::We had a lovely stay. We were 4 people and got the 2 rooms apartment. Everything was perfect in the rooms. Food at breakfast was very nice, fresh and simple. Staff were very friendly and nice.

::Very nice rooms with wireless chargers and different lighting options, smart TV, pretty view, quiet town. Small glasses in room and breakfast, and the sink in my bathroom was not rectangular as shown in photos.

::********** This rating is for the pub/restaurant at the back of the hotel. ********* Rude pub/resrestaur owner. I would have rate this negative star if there's this option! We did ask if they accept credit card payments before we order anything and was told by waiter that they do. Once Sat down then pub owner told our children to take off their shoes else they are not allowed to sit down on the bench, when we finished meal, pub owner then argue with us saying they don't accept credit cards. He then force us to apologise and put a surcharge on our payments. I would not recommend this place and definitely not children friendly!
