::Here the symptoms of an acute herniated disc were dismissed as psychosomatic. I was given various sedatives in high doses (which of course didn't help) and made me feel like I was completely crazy. However, they didn't want to give me simple painkillers like ibuprofen. It's a shame - and in my case also traumatic - if you can't see beyond your own area of ​​expertise or don't really listen to your patients.
