::Beware of the "Marxist" stronghold! I studied at the ASH for 4 years and in conclusion I can only sum up that in the composition of the chair, much more consideration is given to the vocal left-wing radical ASTA than to the silent majority of the students. When assigning chairs, care is not taken to reflect a large number of political opinions or schools of thought. Instead, the political direction is left-moderate to left-radical. Although "Diversity" is capitalized here, it in no way concerns critical opinions. Big topics like racism are dealt with very one-sidedly, e.g. by the lecturer Dr. Iman Attia describes racism simply as a white phenomenon which the white man created with the invention of the biological term race. It is completely forgotten that the attribution of negative characteristics to a "tribe" or an ethnic group and the associated discrimination is as old as humanity itself. As a self-proclaimed racism expert, she stirs up a "anti-white" point of view that sees the white man as the cause of this behavior and does not look at general human tribal behavior. It also proclaims toxic perspectives, in which, for example, white people can never be affected by racism and excludes the fact that the majority and minority ratio, as well as the geographical location, play a role. White people are generally considered to be biased and have only limited ability to understand racism at all. Critical discussion is not encouraged unless it serves to question one's own whiteness. This is clearly about propagandistic opinion making, especially since most of these theories have Marxist motivations. Overall, I find that being white and male and cis-gender can be an immense disadvantage when studying. "Knowing privileged" translates into "having fewer rights than others", "being guilty" and simply having to listen in silence. You are given a privilege, so to speak, based on your ethnicity, which is used against you. If you take a closer look at the definition of the white privilege, you are amazed to find that you could easily call it a "majority privilege". Many positive stereotypes are also hard-worked and can usually be transferred to Asians in Germany or the USA. A kind of collectivist culture of envy is promoted here. I could go on and on here ..... The radical feminism there is also caustic ...... no room for content criticism. Gender and Queer Studies are hardly scientifically oriented and hardly interact with established sciences. I would like to see more plurality be tolerated here in the future.

::Exciting courses and many good lecturers. But unfortunately a lot of things are politically colored to something extremely extreme in my opinion
