::Enjoy shopping Aldi - some great bargains, pretty decent quality too. This was the place I went to buy food and other essentials while I was living and studying in Berlin. It is located down in the basement of the Mall. This Aldi gets quite busy during peak times, but the cashier moves people through efficiently. Took me a while to realize that you are supposed to put your items back in the basket and after paying take it over to the packing area nearby, there to put into carry bags - :)

::Though this is a small city store with limited selection, they sometimes have some really great items. I had some fresh organic strawberries that were delicious. Other times, though, they're sold out of all but the most basic produce. Otherwise, their prices are pretty decent for the location.

::One of the men working on the till calls customers "junge Frau", which at best is patronising and rude, but actually just misogynistic.

::A well equipped supermarket. You can find almost everything for daily needs. I find this supermarket very affordable prices as compare to others. Sometimes they do have promotion for region based like asian foods promotion etc. You can find product with good quality at affordable prices. Most of the time you can see a discounted products also. Even sometimes I have seen a promotion for bagpacks, hope to see that again soon. If you visit here 2-3 times then you can find all things at the same place. They most don't change the places even if promotional articles are they. Staff is friendly and always ready to help you.
