  Went there for lunch and I was very disappointed with the food. They served cold potatoes, lukewarm Fish, wilted salad and hard Herbst butter that supposed to be melted if they served Hot fish instead of lukewarm. And the price is to pricey for that cold meal they served. I give 2 stars because the staff are friendly.

  Went there for a small lunch with Fischbrötchen and crepes. Slightly strange combination but they easily fullfil you typical lunch-on-a-beach-day needs. Service was good, food delicious, atmosphere nice. One shouldn't ask for much more.

  We had Fish sandwiches and drinks and ate outside on the Südstrand promenade. Food was delicious and presented with fish shaped bread, which is very different. Prices were a little high but can be forgiven for the excellent location. The service was super quick, although unusually the food came before the drinks.

  Loved it! Everything was just awesome. There’s a marine museum nearby where you could go on foot. As far as i know all rooms have see view with a small balcony. You don’t get to see the sunrise nor the sunset but it still is beautiful, quiet and calming. No noises, just the birds and the water. At least during my visit (the beach may be crowded during the summer though)

  This review is about the attached bistro 'Schlemmerinsel'. The alleged fish and chips are not fresh. Been there twice and twice, the fish wad still frozen. No apology from the service staff. Would have had to wait again and decided not to. Wondered why they didn't just squeeze me in... register woman begrudgingly gave me my money back. Cannot recommend this place.
