::Despite having an appointment, I waited 20 minutes at the registration desk because the secretary/physician's assistant didn't think it was necessary to accept the patients who were waiting there. Although she sat behind the counter, she preferred to take care of paperwork and answer calls. She didn't even ask for a moment's patience. I'm not going to stand my ground to keep my appointment and let myself be ignored. Waiting a moment to register isn't a problem, but that was really cheeky. I left after those 20 minutes.
