::Location - Location - Location! there are some better amenity properties in Kōln - but for a central walkable location this is hard to beat!

::The rooms were a bit small, but it was just me so it worked. The location is great for easy access to most things but they need better window insulation. It got very chilly in the room with manually operated furnaces. Also it sits above the bars so it was very loud until late at night.

::Great location with most of the sights in Cologne within walking distance. Good service from the receptionists. Room could do a bit of cleaning and we always had problems with the keycards not working for some reason. A bit difficult also for buggies and luggages if you are coming in by car as there is no drop off right in front of the hotel and no parking as well.

::Have eaten here a few times over recent years. Not stayed here at their hotel. The food options are varied and have always been well prepared and presented. They have a great selection of pizzas, themed as the twelve apostles. Plus many other dishes. They have spaces better suited to smaller more intimate groups and others for larger groups. Booking recommended, though we've always managed to get a table.

::I visited the XII restaurant below the hotel. I had avoided it for years thinking it was too tourist oriented. But faking to make/ keep reservations elsewhere... and an abundance of open tables, we have it a try. The food was great! The service was o good (after a short wait)
