::Ambiance was very nice, I felt comfortable. However, there for afternoon coffee, so I only ate sandwiches and drank coffee. Quality and quantity very good. Friendly and courteous staff. I'd love to come back. Location very suitable for hikers or the beginning or end of hikes.

::What a lovely hotel. We only spent one night here as it was our first night in Germany (jet lagged) and we were actually on our way to Munich. It's a little rural so the views were spectacular. Unfortunately, their restaurant was closed (Monday) and our travelling companions say it's wonderful. But we went into Heppenheim and had a fabulous dinner. The rooms are small which we expected (we've been to Europe many times) but it had a spacious balcony with those spectacular views. The bathroom was small too but it was clean and tidy. Breakfast was very good! Lots to choose from. We would stay here again.
