  We got stuck due to the snowstorm in Munich and had to book a last minute room. Although it’s a little far off from the main train station, it was a wonderful stay and the service was excellent. And my dog loved the easy access to the woods in the back.

  We are from Nürnberg but because of a snowstorm in Munich all the outgoing trains were cancelled and couldn’t find any hotels to stay in proper Munich. However, we were grateful to have found Waldgasthof as we absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is amazing, and the location, hospitality and the view from the room is spectacular! A horror turned into an adventure and all thanks to the staff for making our stay pleasant and memorable. Would love to come back here another time! Lots of love 💕

  Did not stay here, just did dinner with a friend who was a guest. Service and food were exceptional!!! Great place tucked away in a charming location.

  Wish I could give 6 stars. My review is for the restaurant only, we did not stay in the hotel. We had very friendly and attentive service from our waitress, even though it was a very busy day. She made everyone feel completely welcome and at home, the service was quick and the food was delicious. Such a nice location next to the train station and in the shade of the trees on a warm day.

  Lovely Bavarian flavor in this hotel. Reasonable price, breakfast included and delicious with lots of options and good coffee. The service was wonderful. There was some merriment late into the evening in the biergarten that prevented sleep since we needed to keep the windows open to get air. Shower a little small. Everything spotlessly clean. Definitely recommend.
