::Service hell Volksbank Höfen. Been there twice during the opening times stated in Google, then there was just a note on the window saying it was closed. Went there a third time today, called the head office beforehand to check whether it was open and what was needed to change the name and close the account. That's no problem, just come to the branch with all your cards and ID, they said on the phone. There on Fridays at 11:00, only customer, open until 12:30. The lady at the counter says that they won't open any more "barrels" now and that I should come back at another time. And changing the name would be too complicated, so I should just sign with the old name. Unbelievable, you are simply brushed off for 2 routine procedures. Now I can come a fourth time. With this service, it shouldn't come as a surprise that customers are migrating to direct banks.

::Bottomless juice shop! Cancel the account without giving a reason. Maybe you have too much money in the account and don't want to pay negative interest? Would recommend everyone to look further afield. In particular, the “advice” in this regard was very poor and unfriendly.
