::Der Bahnhof ist ein einfacher Mittelsteigbahnhof, der in Weiß gehalten ist, die Stationsschilder tragen eine blaue Umrandung. Das Ganze steht unter Denkmalschutz und wurde von 1915 bis 1923 erbaut. Der Bahnhof ist mit einem Aufzug zur Oranienburger Straße barrierefrei. Vom Mauerbau am 13. August 1961 bis zum 1. Juli 1990 war er ein sogenannter „Geisterbahnhof“ - die U-Bahn hielten im Ostsektor nur an der Friedrichstraße.

::Metro line 6 Station. It is located below Friedrichstrasse, at the height of Claire-Waldoff-Straße. It was built to a design by Alfred Grenander and opened on January 30, 1923. The train was the "ghost train station" from August 13, 1961 to July 1, 1990 because the train only stopped at Friedrichstrasse. The station is now a listed building. Line U6 goes from Tegel county to Mariendorf county in a north-south direction. With a length of 19.8 kilometers and 29 stations, the line is one of the longest routes in the busy Berlin metro network.
