  An utterly hideous train station. Hopefully after years of renovation after 30 years it will finally be barrier-free.

  I've lived nearby for more than 5 years and use the subway station at least twice a week. You can tell how it is getting worse every day. Honestly, I even try to avoid the train station, as this atmosphere also affects you. I just hope that after the renovation it will get better and that it will get the charm from before.

  This U-Bahn station is the nearest to "TEGEL AIRPORT TXL" and it is about 3 Kilometers walking from the airport. It is a bit old and rusty, not very clean, and some homelesses and drunkards around, But when a sudden Taxi-drivers strike, BLOCKED all entries and exits from the airport, at April 10th 2019, it was the only option to get out from there! NO Bus and NO Taxis. There is NO railways or U-Bahn connecting the airport directly. The U7 line is connected to U2 line at S-Bahn And U-Bahn Bismarckstrasse so you can go to Alexanderplatz etc..
