When I went to this place to give birth I thought it was a good idea which I was almost convinced of because Kreißsaal was amazing. Great team. But the station where I was worst place ever, I couldn't recommend this place to any new mom because you are literally left on your own. I had a C-section waited 6hours before someone could come and help up to use the bathroom just going to stop here because the list is long. They have a cool responding system when you call for help but totally useless because it didn't work with me. I just packed my stuff and went home because it was the worst experience ever.

The doctor in the emergency department was highly unprofessional and rude. I've never encountered a doctor who has made me feel absolutely worse and like I wasn't in good care. When first meeting me, she started to say, "What, you don't know what language you speak?" when I didn't answer right away. I speak multiple languages and can only imagine what it may be like for others who don't fully understand. She continued to make rude comments, and I said that I didn't feel comfortable being seen by this doctor. Unfortunately, the hospital informed me that I would have to sign to say that "I refused treatment," if I were to not be seen by her, so it felt like I had to stay in a hostile environment. I would have expected a doctor to try and help me feel better, but left feeling worse off, and will be seeking care from someone who actually shows care towards patients. Based off of that encounter, I wouldn't be surprised if patients leave feeling guilty for their misfortunes when they don't need to, because of a doctor reprimanding patients who are vulnerable enough in the first place having being in emergency care. I would not recommend going here if you have any possibility of getting to a different emergency department first. My advice is to go to the Uni clinic first

As an Australian citizen visiting Germany as a tourist i have never recieved such a poor service when someone is in a serious condition to retrieve treatment in the emergency department. I am extremly shocked how poor the standards are for this hospital, i would compare them to that EXACTLY of an African nation if not worse, even personally being ill in many Asian nations i such as China, Thailand, Phillipines and Indonesia, I have recieved far better treatment in their countries as a human being to that of a first world standard. I hope people read this and avoid this hospital for their own sake. it seems that this hospital in Freiburg is a very poorly organised from rostering, triage and the poorly trained inexperienced nurses. Its so bad that the nurses are offering medical advice to me when they have absolutely no medical education or approval to offer patients. They accepted me into the private rooms after 5 hours booting me out for other patients without a doctor even inspecting the seriousness of my condition. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING !! A written complaint to gesund.bund will be escalated. Absolutely disappointing that is has had to come to that! I had an understanding that Germany was one of the worlds leading health care systems! Absolute myth !

I had pain related to a urologist, went the emergency part and asked if I am in the right section, they said yes, checked my urine and said I should wait to be checked by sonography, i waited for 3 hours, meanwhile I asked the secretory twice if everything is alright and i should wait more. she said yes and they do not have many urologists there. so finally a doctor with a very dirty and shabby uniform called me in and after explaining my problem he said they dont have a urologist at all! i asked for a sonography and he said they also dont have it. I wish i could give zero star!

Very helpful staff they responded quickly about questions that I had. Extremely approachable and polite. Food is good and they really do try to do their best, help you with your problem and make it easier for you while you are at the hospital. Reccomend for everyone especially if you have to give birth. Pregnant women are treated as Goddesses.
