  I personally know the surgery where my old and frail mother-in-law was due to a fall (hip fracture) and the pain ward where she was treated as an inpatient a year before. Due to my own illnesses, I was an outpatient in rheumatology and an inpatient in nephrology...and unfortunately I also had to use the emergency room (who wants to be there). Because of a very serious electrolyte disorder, I was cared for competently and lovingly in nephrology and I can only report good things about it. I can really recommend the St. Georg. Even if subjectively there can always be (massive) differences in quality from area to area, knowing that every hospital always has weak points somewhere. Since my own daughter is studying medicine and we already have a trained doctor, nurse and paramedic in the family, we have a lot of knowledge about what goes on behind the scenes in a hospital. Talk to doctors and nurses about their everyday lives in our current healthcare system and you will notice that you not only need knowledge but also a lot of idealism and a lot of strength (resilience) for these professions. (Well, and the food? ... let's not talk about it for long. That's because of the broken health system. How are seriously ill people supposed to get well again with such cheap food because they have to save to the point of vomiting? But that's really the case in every hospital. I've never experienced anything different in recent years. Unfortunately, it's not the only hospital I've had to experience as a patient in recent years - the same problem with the quality of the food everywhere. I feel sorry for the hospital chefs who have to manage a ridiculous budget.)

  I would prefer to give zero stars! However, my mother and I are there because I ran out my bone. The doctor then looked at it and sent us out again saying we didn't have the medical card with us!? Then she cheekily said that we had to look around in the family and see who had a club foot! Laughed and went back in. I think it's still the case that people should be treated in such a derogatory way

  I was always happy with the doctors there, but yesterday I was very irritated by how the senior doctor treated my daughter and us. I came with my child because of a stitch in his left foot that was swollen and red. My daughter couldn't walk properly and what does the doctor Vilser say? "She says: what should I do here, should I look into a glass ball?" that's what she says. I was so angry and irritated that I had to hold back so I couldn't be disrespectful there. Think I'm bringing my daughter there because I want to take a walk around the hospital or something. When I take my daughter to the emergency room on Saturday it's because I'm genuinely worried about her and nothing else. A nurse was lying there for about yesterday, so that was really yesterday for me, something I never expected from a doctor. I'm speechlessly irritated and hope that I never meet someone like that in my life again. Unfortunately, the health system in Germany is suffering.

  I have often been in the hospital as a companion with my children. Leipzig, Halle and Sommerda, but we had never experienced such an absolutely outstanding clinic as the Robert Koch Clinic! My child was very seriously ill, but we always felt like we were in good hands here. From the morning shift to the night shift, everyone was extremely committed, acted with foresight and responded quickly to individual needs. There was regular coordination about the next steps and consideration within the team and also with me as the mother. Everyone also went ahead and acted emphatically. I have never experienced something like that. A great children's clinic. The surrounding area with the Robert Koch Park is also just beautiful. I consider this clinic and the people who work there a blessing! Teamwork is also very important here and it was wonderful to observe this! Just really great!!! We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!!!! Best regards

  I would also like to thank all the people who work there! I'm so glad that you exist and that you can endure all of this. My grandma died with you. I know you did your best and made it possible for me to be with her despite the difficult conditions and to be able to say goodbye, even though I didn't fully understand at that moment that I had seen her for the last time :(! You are strong for those who have become weak, thank you!
