::We really loved our stay here ! We stayed in both the historic wing and the new wing and both were great! My family loved the suite room (the views is simply breathtaking!) And being able to catch our last night on the first snow in Würzburg was magical! I’m leaning towards the room of the historic wing though as I love the coziness ! To each its own! Both are so lovely ! One is torn for choice ! This hotel is so lovely , it really is a treat to stay in each room type and enjoy! Why not ? Breakfast was a real treat and being able to choose which dining hall to eat in is also lovely ! Not forgetting champagne breakfast! The knights hall took my heart too! Will highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Würzburg ! You will love it as much as we did !

::We loved staying here so much, we decided one night was not enough and added a second night. It’s such a cool drive up to this castle turned hotel, and then navigating to the lobby was quite the confusing adventure. But we found it eventually, and navigated the maze to the room. You can tell this was a castle first then hotel second because some parts are confusing at first. But the beautiful views and decor, plus the fantastic service, quickly make you fall in love with it. My first night my husband fell asleep early so I went down for a glass of wine on the outdoor patio solo. The waitress chatted with me the whole time, she made my night!! The wine and food was so good, and truly the views are spectacular. The breakfast was one of our favorites from the whole trip!! Plus the pool is awesome. We really loved staying here!

::Great views, cool hotel. Not much at all for small kids besides the pool. Very clean and modern rooms (given that it's a old castle). It's loud there and could really use air conditioners.
