  It's a shame that the entrance is only at the white one. Not so nice for travelers passing through. View very great.

  We were looking for a stopover for our long journey home. While looking for a nice and affordable place to stay, we became aware of the Hotel Schloss Wespenstein. Our room # 4 was perfect with an incredibly beautiful view, a small kitchen and a private bathroom with a shower. For us the kitchen was a little surprise and perfect for warming up our baby's food. I can only recommend the accommodation. I advise arriving before 7 p.m., because the restaurant right next door is open until 9 p.m. Thank you for the nice overnight stay

  The castle itself is really impressive and the view is amazing. In the castle itself there is a museum and the oldest part is still under construction. There is also a restaurant which recently had a new operator, which (let's put it cautiously) is very unfriendly. The rooms are so far quite good, but carefully it is fresh in such an old thick-walled building. But I have to pull a tooth the rooms are not in the castle but in the outbuilding see picture.

  Stayed there for four nights during some very hot summer days. Thanks to the 3foot walls had an enjoyable comfortable stay. The Schloss is being painstakingly restored by the owner Dr. Wehr and boasts rich history, including stays by Martin Luther.
