  Nice castle, family can spend 2-3 hours easily, you can reach to the castel either via Seilbahn or via walk, the Seilbahn cost 4€ to and fro and kid 3€ to and fro, entrance fees for castle is 6€ for adults and 4€ for kids from age 3-13. There are restaurants available for eating and drinking.

  Excellent views, plenty of to eat! Very relaxed environment. Bring cash because most merchant and restaurant will except cash and there a lack of tour guides to take you you around the castle.

  Good place to visit one Satueday/Sunday, beautiful casstle and area. It is also possible to do a short trekking.

  So Germany is known for its castles and today I saw one: very accurately named 'Schloss Burg' or 'Castle Castle'. Unlike the 19th century Disneyland castles in Bavaria, this is a proper medieval fortress, used as the seat by the Graf (Count) von Berg from the 11th century until the castle was besieged by the Swedes in the Thirty Years War. I'm walking around here half expecting Maleficent to show up to curse the newborn princess. Better watch out for those spinning wheels.

  Beautiful medieval castle with a romantic, steep gondola leading up from the base of the hill to the peak. Quaint and educational, this place is fun for the entire family. We saw a medieval style theater performance, where local actors told a story of a young farmer turned warrior who wanted to protect his family's honor in battle. A great way to spend an afternoon!
