::Money is a matter of trust. As is often the case in life, it all comes down to the right time and the right place. We (my wife and I) wanted to open a childcare allowance account for the children. In fact, the product is hardly represented today, but is available at Santander Bank (as of January 2024). We had booked an appointment online. Because there is no separate section under miscellaneous. Unfortunately, 'other' means 15 minutes for the employee - so the day was a little more stressful for the good gentleman. When the employee Mr. Franke told us that it would now take about 60 minutes, I was surprised at how professionally the work was done. I had already prepared for a subsequent appointment. Ultimately we decided that Santander would be our house bank. A bank with the advantages of an online bank but with a branch network and motivated employees - that actually still exists. We look forward to a long, constructive and honest collaboration.
