  I am a patient at the Rheinhessen specialist clinic in Alzey. My brain tumor was diagnosed on ward G1 in Mainz at the Johannes Gutenberg University. Then I came to Alzey on ward G5 for early rehabilitation and there is very good care from the nursing staff and therapists.

  On January 15th, out of sheer desperation (and based on a recommendation because two kids we knew were there), I called G6 and asked for help with my autistic son (including pica syndrome and severe speech and sleep disorders according to the pediatrician). It has to be said that we are registered with the HTK in Göllheim, but wanted to change because we have been waiting for the initial report from Dr Gallwitz for 1.5 years and there is no official diagnosis without it. Rarely have I been brushed off in such an unempathetic, annoyed and disinterested manner on the phone. If there is no space or a waiting list or something similar, then you can say that empathetically. But it came: We would be wrong here. We have a treatment place... no, good lady, he's not being treated and we're not told whether or where he's on the waiting list or what can be done! Further statements: Autistic kids are not treated as inpatients and no diagnostics are carried out (diagnosis is generally carried out on an outpatient basis). Aha… And if anything, wait until 2025… huh? Yes, what now? A child from our circle of friends was diagnosed with autism (+ comorbidities) as an inpatient, and another with early childhood ADHD (this child was admitted to inpatient care within 8 weeks without there being an emergency!). But OK… I feel really left hanging...

  If zero stars were possible I would give it! Absolutely incompetent station (G8) Vorbau didn't listen to parents and information...the child was completely distraught afterwards and Doctor Macke didn't even manage to write the doctor's letter correctly. Be sure to avoid the clinic if you care about your children

  Basically no therapy is possible without medication. And the doctor's letter doesn't even mention medication, so withdrawal is due after the stay 👎

  If a family member ends up there, you can pray that they survive due to incompetence. E.g. inject 2 insulin and then drive quickly to the hospital. No communication between departments and contact persons. Some of the staff are friendly and empathetic, but unfortunately for the most part it is the opposite. You will then receive an invoice for almost €1400. All of the clothing was given as if it was expected that the patient would not survive and then the incompetent staff really get on the nerves of the relatives because only part of it is transported back from the hospital and you as a family member are supposed to iron out the mistakes, even if you are over Lives 150km away. . Today I saw my father again after 4 weeks, before that it hadn't worked out despite the appointment. Sometimes you are ignored by the staff. I was shocked. He is emaciated and his condition is worse than before the clinic. I was called again because he doesn't have clean clothes. When I got there, I only received a few things. When I asked where the rest of the clothing was, they searched again and found 4 sweaters. 4 jeans and 3 jogging suits are missing. Fleece jacket, quilted jacket, slippers and 4 weeks of underwear and socks as well as my large travel bag with wheels. If the items don't show up again by Wednesday I will file a theft report. Only after this threat was the bag with his clothes found in the station manager's office. Do you have any words for this??? My lawyers have already been informed because this is not normal. The worst clinic I have ever had contact with. I'm now trying to organize a transfer through the health insurance company and lawyers because I'm afraid for my father.
