::We did not stay in the hotel as we only booked it to go to a wedding in the area and it was rather close. When we booked the hotel by phone the price was 85€ for a double room. Unfortunately this was not stated in the reservation confirmation which we received via mail. There was no price mentioned. We didn't think that this would cause a problem as the hotel is family owned and the owner was taking our reservation and seemed rather trustworthy. Later when we wanted to book one more room for my father in law we phoned again and the new price was 115€. The owners wife said that this was also the price for our already booked room. They didn't seem to remember that we booked earlier when the prices were still 85€ and as this was nowhere stated in the reservation confirmation, we would have to pay the 115€ per night. This experience showed us that we would rather book via the trusted and known booking websites than directly at the hotel and that if the reservation confirmation is not stating exactly the price this can cause big trouble. This experience with the hotel made us book a different hotel via a booking website which was also cheaper than the original price. Never ever again
