I was in the Parkland Clinic for 13 weeks. It was my first hospital stay and I should have taken the step a long time ago. I was worked extremely well and I was able to take a lot with me. I felt absolutely comfortable and can't say anything bad. Overall, I have gained more understanding of myself and my illness. I know that this is just the beginning of a longer journey and I am happy that if I need help again, I can come back at any time. If you think that you'll be healed straight away with just one stay, I'm afraid I'll have to disappoint you. Therapy is not a vacation!

By far the worst clinic I've had to get to know, and I know a few. Suboptimal therapy offer. Little attention is paid to the problems of the patients. Due to illness and understaffing, appointments are canceled and are only replaced inadequately or not at all. The food is unreasonable (exception: breakfast). Lunch was consistently oversalted, and dinner served old bread and the leftovers from the day. The signage of the premises needs to be improved, people are constantly wandering around. Because of bureaucratic busybodies, trivialities, e.g. E.g. who, how and where parks is apparently more important than others. Somehow I could have saved myself the stay. No recommendation from me.

My partner was there for 1 night. Terrible clinic, terrible doctors, don't really want to help you, you're not listened to. Kicked out even though you want to try, you are forced to eat. Don't even start slowly, 2 rolls in half an hour, if you can't do it, there's one line like that and as many lines you fly. You can't go straight from 0 to 100 with people who don't eat. You are not taken seriously at all. Findings or inpatient admission are not even looked at. I can probably send my partner to trauma therapy after the 2 days. Thanks for nothing.

I was in the youth eating disorder ward for 12 weeks. It was my first stay in the hospital and I am satisfied with everything, the food, the staff, the therapy, the fellow patients, etc.! I was able to establish a good relationship, especially with the nutritional advice, my reference therapist and the nursing staff, which is why I quickly felt comfortable and was able to engage well with the therapy. I also think the concept of the clinic is great, you get to know your reference therapist on the first day (if you arrive early enough) and have an initial conversation with her, as well as getting to know your group. Only the internet in the clinic can be expanded. Overall, I am completely satisfied with my stay. If I were to go to a clinic again, I would definitely come back here.

I was in the Parkland clinic for seven weeks and was able to learn a lot. There are lots of ways to keep yourself busy and the location is also very nice. I was also satisfied with my room and the cleaning staff. I found the food in the morning and evening to be completely fine - but at lunchtime it was a disaster. The staff is very friendly, I only noticed the nurses negatively and it often seemed hectic, chaotic and haphazard. I was not at all satisfied with my doctor. Doctor okay, but there was no reference. But I think it always depends on who is assigned to you. If you are aware that the stay is an opportunity to change something and you focus on yourself and deal with things independently, you can benefit greatly from the time. I am grateful to have chosen this step!
