  We previously rated this hotel highly and returned this year for our third year. Sadly, as much as we wanted to help or compliment as per our previous review, many of the accolades no longer apply. This year we booked two rooms over a significant period of time. Although a few of the staff continue to be outstanding, we encountered multiple issues including with plumbing (which necessitated closing several rooms), recurrent (and unfortunately aggravating) housekeeping issues (with towels and/or toilet paper being repeatedly forgotten) while our attempts to alert the reception - as diplomatically as possible – were surprisingly rebuffed. One incident in which there was a shocking crescendo of loud banging on our door (and this was when the “Do Not Disturb” sign was hanging on the outside doorknob!) was dismissed inappropriately (being excused as “the housekeeping staff didn’t realize that they shouldn’t do being doing that” - which left one of our party feeling traumatized. (By the way, there is no “peep hole” in the doors to the rooms to see who’s at the door.) This year there was a clear pattern of lack of proper response to, and caring about, hotel guests. This year the senior staff left us feeling as if we were an aggravation to them. For these reasons and more, sadly we had to recuse our previous positive review as we feel that reviews should reflect experiences in an honest way to help the public in making decisions. This was a difficult review to write as some of the staff provide a high level of service (mostly restaurant and bar related) and they should be commended for their dedication.

  One of the best hotels I visited. I had a lovely room. Eventhought I am tall and the ceiling was lower in the 3rd floor I myself quite enjoy the overnight stay. Breakfast was really yummy. :)

  Absolutely outstanding service, very friendly and amazing staff. Breakfast buffet has a large selection, something for everyone. The attached restaurant and outside dining was perfect for winding down a busy day.

  Great facilities, lovely rooms and an incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is also great, with a lovely breakfast buffet and a great dinner menu. I had an excellent time there, I totally recommend it!!

  Parking next to hotel - It is free all night from 19hrs till 6hrs, but I never payed during my 6 nights even when little out of these hours - there is plenty of space. Gym could use some improvement, but it is usable as it is. Sauna and whole wellness area is just amazing and included as standard in room rate! Breakfast has just too little vegetarian or vegan options – no nuts, and no salads. Only milk available was cow milk (no rice milk, no soya milk, no almond milk…). I asked for an alternative for next days and they were able to make coconut milk which I assume they use for cooking, but as I found it too thick I was rather bringing my own Rice milk from store after second day. It is nice and quiet hotel and I would come again.
