I would like to thank the nurses and the two doctors in the intensive care unit. I always felt well informed, advised and sensitively understood. They do a great job and don't forget the human element. Thank you. Jeannette

    1. Maternity ward Not really recommended for first-time mothers. The birth itself was ok, but I would have liked to have been informed BEFORE the use of additional aids and not AFTER... I can't say anything negative about gynecology, everything was fine. But the real trauma began in the postpartum ward. I didn't know how to change my child independently or pick up/hold it and nothing was "explained calmly". But the main thing is that you should weigh your child yourself every day and take the temperature... Even when it came to the topic of breastfeeding, they only referred to the picture board in the room or suggested that they should watch a video on YouTube. Interesting procedure. Totally overwhelming. Ultimately, a pumping machine was used, which, even at my request, was not switched off after the time had elapsed and was painful. "The device knows itself when to stop" So I actually googled THAT to find out myself. I couldn't wait for the final visit to get home. In the end, the sisters also laughed at my wish to leave soon: "She's still awkward with the child." yes, thank you, I wasn't shown anything... An absolute no-go: you could use the emergency bells, but especially at night the red lights in individual rooms were reset without anyone coming. You can only hope that there were no life-threatening situations. Another negative aspect: the dad-to-be and I actually wanted to move into a family room (that wasn't a problem and was one of the selection criteria) for the delivery it was decided that it wasn't possible due to the renewed Corona measures (the bed in my room remained unused and covered with foil). At that time, a family room was possible in all other hospitals around Leipzig. Unfortunately, the argument was very difficult to understand. So the dad was only allowed to see his child for one hour a day. 2. Children's ward Unfortunately not recommended. Due to local conditions, the room was very warm and very uncomfortable if you had a fever. Except for two very dear sisters, they are all very nasty women with little empathy for children. One-year-olds should be treated more sensitively. It would also be desirable to allow the parents to give the fever medicine and not to wake the child from its sleep and become really rough. Not changing the drip after the third warning ring of the infusion and instead pausing, but also not releasing the child from it so that he or she can get out of bed, is also a questionable approach. 3.Conclusion The child, mom and dad have had traumatic experiences and cannot recommend KH Wurzen. On the contrary.

A pregnant woman went to the emergency room at night because she was bleeding. The gynecologist told her over the phone that she “didn’t feel like it at this time” at 4am. If you lack the necessary empathy and “don’t feel like” your job, please change careers!

If you can't get up the next day of a cesarean section and have to ring the bell when you need help and then get bad moods and sayings like "there's no time for that now"... something is definitely wrong. I often felt very uncomfortable. Sad.

I gave birth in Wurzen 12 days ago and can only recommend the hospital, especially the gyn and the delivery room. My husband and I felt in great hands, I was able to make my own decisions (which wasn't the case with the other children) and as a result I had a wonderful birth. The doctors, nurses and midwives were a great, nice and friendly team during my stay. I would always give birth in Wurzen again and recommend you 👍👍 Keep it up and thank you so much for everything 😊
