A museum - meeting point for all the lovers of modern art. A must place at Frankfurt am Main. One of the best of its kind. The unique feeling of MMK will make you fan of Moderne Kunst.

Excellent architecture for a modern art museum. The exhibits are good, but I've seen better.

The photos look way better and include cool sculptures. I like art museums with more colourful modern art, with sculptures, with interactive exhibits, and with light or mirror type exhibits...stuff that makes it interesting. This was pretty much just full on art on walls, and not even eye catching art on walls. There was one magnetic floor display where you wore magnet shoes, but it barely worked and I could totally pick up my feet. Felt like a waste of 12 euros each for my friend and I. The nice part was the lookout area up some stairs where the building's angles were nice and made for some cool photos, but that was us just trying to make the best of it. I won't come back here.

I enjoyed my visit! The museum was under construction so only the 2nd floor was open with limited artworks, however I still had a good time and saw some great pieces. Staff was very friendly! I was given a description of one of the collections by one of the staff members and it was very interesting. Purses larger than a cross body will be checked in (free of charge) as is with any art museum.
