::••previous 4 star post below•• This Italian shop has gone massively downhill since the last few visits. No Guanciale, only 3 spicey pieces, even thou the last times they had min 20 pieces. Deli scales are wrong by 3-5%, either that or all that I brought over the deli counter reduced by 3-5% in transit (less than 10 km). Out of date reduced priced items scanned at full price at checkout - only found out upon review of itemised bill at home. Only one open fridge on, the other was off, lights out, with items stored in it. Waiting time at deli, over 5 minutes with no one there was unacceptable. No guanciale, so brought a whole piece of pancetta - @ 10€ - which in the end was more than old and 2 out of 3 that ate it was sick - like vomiting sick. The shelves are half empty. It would seem to me that this place is closing down, or have run out of money. A shame really, as in the past it was a reliable source for Italian food stuffs. Will be looking elsewhere in the future. It takes years to find a customer, and seconds to loose one. Well done, you just lost a customer!!! -previous post - May 2022- Very good variety and deli section. If you’re after an Italian shop, then this is more than ok. A little pricey, and check best before dates. Otherwise well worth the visit

::They have different pastas and products from Sicily. The wine offer is also good, well sorted. It is worth visiting to check if you find products that suit your taste! 😌

::This must be the importer all Italian restaurants in Frankfurt turn to for stocking their kitchen. Most of it is a warehouse with goods stacked up high. The other side caters to private customers; one can buy a single pack of pasta or just one sausage. Prices in that area are pretty high, but you get to find exotic stuff you would not normally find in a standard supermarket. Service is rather unhelpful and unfriendly.

::Great selection of Italian stuff, including a meat and cheese counter, where the prices are actually quite good! The only negatives I can say are they only take cash and the cashier is not very friendly. They must have integrated well into German culture. The bread is also awesome!

::If you need real authentic Italian food this is the place to go. In the early morning you get the best breads. Fresh from the oven. You can also have some panini made directly at the stand with fresh cuts meats or cheeses. Bulk options are also available, mostly wine and pasta. Make sure to check out the meats where you can score on any kind of salami, prosciutto or cheeses.
