::I was in the acute care clinic in 2020 and 2022. One of the best clinics. Except for the constant repairs and the old building, everything is great. The food is really great. The therapies are also very good.

::The therapists here and the nurses are really very good. The building is a bit older, but it's not a vacation you go there. The rooms have a slightly older charm which doesn't bother you. To get started and get healthy, the equipment is sufficient. The Internet could be made much cheaper. Because you have certainly taken out a flat rate with the online provider. The cuisine is very good and commendable. It is freshly cooked and there is no lack of quantity. All in all, I was very impressed and I will come back.

::Hello, still under the negative impression of a very bad experience with the Median Klinik Odenwald (Acute), it is difficult for me to write something positive. But I have to ask myself why I didn't write a review in 2021 - after my first stay in the clinic - with mostly good experiences, and also not in 2022 during my second stay with a lot of light, but also a lot of shadow. I therefore try to remain objective wherever possible. The first reports in short form: - Clinic: Getting old, but still has charm. The view of Breuberg from the rooms on the south side is unique. The rooms are big enough and clean. I felt comfortable there. 3 washing machines for the entire clinic and perhaps 10 clothes racks for up to 36 patients on the ward are embarrassing. The WiFi is weak and clearly overpriced. Clinic: 2 stars. - The food had improved significantly compared to my first stay. Breakfast and dinner in buffet form, lunchtime selection of three dishes - one of which is vegetarian. Lots of salads in the evening. Food: from 2 (2021) to 4 (2022) stars! - Sports facilities are good. The swimming pool was broken in 2022, a replacement part was there, but there was probably only one mechanic in the world who could repair it. The fitness room is okay, but the equipment is a bit older. The clinic is located in the middle of the forest, where everyone can have fun jogging or hiking. Sports 3 stars. - Individual conversation 1x/week, group conversations 3x, plus relaxation, music and art therapy. I was particularly impressed by the interplay between individuals, art and music. Some knots came undone here. In 2022 there was a change in the reference therapist due to retirement. But that didn't matter, both were great and the collaboration was excellent. Clearly: 5 stars. - Two further groups were led by the clinic manager, who took over the clinic in 2021 and introduced two new groups. In contrast to group therapy, where the patients are carried out in 4 groups of a maximum of 9 people each, in these two groups all patients are present at once. I really liked the meditation. The other was about talking openly about what concerns you about everyday hospital life. So you could say whatever you wanted about anyone. Conflicts inevitable. The resulting tension particularly pleased the clinic manager. I felt like I was taking part in a clinical study without being asked. Unfortunately, participation is mandatory. The third stay should follow in the next few weeks because the only thing that counts is the therapy, which has brought me some big steps forward. In addition, the death of a family member very close to me and the immense pressure caused by an unclear professional situation mean that I find myself in an ever faster downward spiral. Contact with the clinic was made quickly, the signals for a further stay were positive and then came the preliminary consultation with a young psychologist. The conversation was just terrible. No friendly greeting, no warmth, no smile, complete lack of empathy. The introduction: “I won’t see you in the clinic.” The reason I currently have no outpatient therapy. I had one for over 6 years that the therapist ended in 2019 because he couldn't provide a regular weekly hour. Afterwards I was in a health insurance program and a self-help group. And the fact that a therapist can ensure that fewer hospital stays are necessary belies the fact that my therapist had to admit me 5 times in 6 years. But the psychologist isn't interested in that. “If I can provide a quota of consultations that can be agreed upon, the clinic will accept me.” End of conversation. An acute hospital that abandons me in an acute case? A great reference therapist who doesn't stand in front of her patients in the event of a conflict? Conclusion: Anyone who is sick will not be helped here. No recommendation!

::I'm shocked that something like this can even be called a clinic. That's an imposition for anyone who has to go in there. Honestly, this "clinic" in quotation marks should be closed immediately. I was sent pictures... That's so disgusting... I'm surprised that the patients don't catch something else. I'm really at a loss for words. This is something so unworthy of people. The one star is only related to the food. I would really sink into the ground if I were her. 😡😡

::I visited someone in the clinic and was horrified by the very poor condition of the park and gardens. How are you supposed to get healthy here? Staff and therapies should be good, but the first impression - and that's the one from the outside - is important for the rest of your stay and getting healthy.
