::we were admitted in the pediatric department, the doctors are okay but most of the staff are very impolite, rude and they show no empathy at all. This is somehow a racist hospital. If you are a foreigner to this land then better choose another hospital. They can be nice to their co germans but not to other nationals. They are easily irritated and are impatient to questions or requests. I understand that there can be a language barrier, they may also be short staffed, mistakes for once or twice can be forgiven and forgotten, inwas very underatanding at first, but for the whole length of stay with this kind of treatment? Thats very stressful and not healthy at all. There‘s really something wrong with the people employed in this department. Another thing, They have a terrible problem when it comes to communication. You will ask for something to be done, then you will wait and wait then realize that there‘s no feedback coming at all, you will also hear no apology because they‘ve forgotten you/your request. We were left there hanging most of the time. there was a case where i really waited for my baby to sleep, but she just wont, and i really had to pee already, have pain from holding my urine, i rang the bell for a nurse to look after my 1 yr old child so she wont fell from the bed. One nurse came and just said„i dont have time! ill send another colleague“ In an impolite rude tone of voice, no empathy or apology at all. 30mins passed by and still no one came. When in fact i only need 2mins just 2mins of their time to go to the toilet. And when i asked who that nurse was who was very rude, all nurses in that shift and the next shift never cared to fix the situation or misunderstanding if thats the case? They were just all lying trying to cover up the name even though it was clear to them who that was. If something’s not wrong and they have a clean conscience why hide? There are more of this rudeness case that happened in this hospital. By the way! They will also ask you to do some of their job, to easen their workload and with good intention you will help, but then they’ll get angry at you for doing other tasks for them, then they will also get angry if you never did their job at all! They should be specifying tasks and limitations in the first place! Right from the admission. What the parents could do to help and what they shouldn't do. My baby had a first degree burn in her hand from the lighting of a sensor. not a single nurse or doctor bothered to care or treat it. I asked the nurse for a medication, and here‘s what she said „did you not change the position of the pulse oximeter?“ Its not my responsibility at all right? By the way! You should also be double checking that the tubes of Intravenous Lines are free from air coz some nurses wont. Imagine these airs causing embolism to a baby!? So again that‘s your job. With all of these bad experiences and as private patients not worthy of this kind of treatment, i decided to verbalize it to the Chief Doctor. Its actually more disheartening to hear what he said „next time please go to your trusted hospital“. I think empathy and right patient treatment is really missing in this hospital. And That to me sounded more disappointing. Please choose your hospital wisely. No parents/patient deserve to be treated like this.

The lady doctor in that shift was super kind and professional and the nurses were very helpful and professional. the send me to heart department to keep in eye on me for a day. the nurse there also were very professional. the atmosphere between nurses and culture sound nice. the specialist could be better, but all in all they took care of me very nicely and i am thankful.

::They've saved my life a couple times. The doctors, nurses and lab techs that work here helped me get my blood pressure under control after having experienced a couple episodes of extremely high blood pressure. They were unable to determine exactly what was causing the problem, but my doctor assured me that that is quite normal for most patients. I really cannot say enough nice things about the people that work here!!!
