  The baked goods on offer are wonderful and tasty. The ambience is also great and every now and then you will be visited by one or two of the Sparrow Gang and politely asked for breadcrumbs 😇 A nice place to stay.

  The location of the Lotsenhaus is perfect. Right at the harbor or near the beach 👌. Unfortunately, the Pilothouse is the bakery that probably opens the latest in Warnemünde during the week (Mon-Fri from 9 a.m.). Since my husband really wanted something specific from this bakery, I went there in the morning. To my disappointment, there were no rolls at all as soon as the shop opened. Just sweet pastries. Huh???? Other customers also wanted sandwiches. The saleswoman just said “I don’t know when my colleague will be finished with it” 🤷‍♀️. With all my love: the shop opens at 9 a.m. You can expect everything to be in stock. Accordingly, some customers left without any goods. I now have enough other bakers that I prefer in Warnemünde.

  Terrible experience. I walked in at 16.20 and kindly asked for a hot chocolate in english. The lady at the counter started laughing in my face very loudly while calling out for her colleague (who didn't know english either so idk why) so she didn't hear me try to repeat the order in german 2 or 3 times. I'm not fluent but know a few words so I tried, but she was laughing too much to listen. When she finally heard me she asked if I wanted it to go. I said no that I wanted to sit (it was cold outside and I wanted to relax a bit) and she said that they were closing and I could not sit down. Their closing time is 17. I think I can manage to drink a hot chocolate in 40 minutes but okay. I said no thanks and left.
