  FORGET to eat a fast lunch or dinner in here. Minimum wait time for a plate of pasta is around 30 minutes, even with half empty place. It's crazy how they can be that slow. Pizza are huge, they can accommodate 2 persons.

  I'll start off by saying that the pizzas here are really good. So good, in fact, that I was surprised to find out that they were a chain. We went for a single pizza with two flavours, the salmon and the barbecued chicken. The pizzas only came in a single size, but the large size was more than adequate. They were large enough that when we stopped by for a light lunch, I could not finish a single one and had to split it. More than that though, the pizza was delicious, with a crisp crust and a good amount of cheese, sauce and toppings. They looked good enough to be Instagram-worthy too. Unfortunately, the same could not be same for all dishes. The pizza is good, so stick to the pizza. The pasta is nothing to write home about. The restaurant ambiance is cozy and modern, with plenty of wood, exposed brick, and warm lighting. The only nitpick that I have after coming here for a few times is that, when crowded, the restaurant has rather loud music, and the close seating to other patrons means that making conversation can be rather difficult. In a way, the same could be said for staff. Service was good when place is empty, but curt and absent when full. All in all though, I would still recommend L'Osteria. Lunchtime would be a more pleasant experience due to the smaller crowd, but the pizza would be a strong attraction regardless of the time of the day.

  Guys, this place is out of scale for negative bad sides, but I must chose at least one star in Google maps, so here I'm and I do so. Before I forget, I say : don't you never, ever, go there. The pizza is awful and will let you drink water all the following night. Also, will give you stomachache and sense of being overfull and disturbed for more than 12 hours. Not joking. Don't try the antipasti teller too. Don't take pane pizza because it's just a little pizza which will bring the above consequences. You can have safely the tomato soup. Service is very slow and at least in Darmstadt 2 of them are also quite rude. Don't you never, ever, go there.

  Wonderful pasta, great service, cosy restaurant. (Be careful though there is cream sauce in pasta al carbonara, I don't know if you can trust that kind of people) Thank you.

  Good prices, nice staff and really good Italian pizzas! It is a great place, usually if a reservation is not made, some waiting time is needed, specially in the weekends. Still, it is totally worth the wait. They have variety in the menu, but I would say their main dish are their huge pizzas, which have a thin dough and a great taste.
