::A nicely appointed hotel and restaurant. We were there for a Sunday family lunch. The owner and servers were friendly, but, despite the restaurant being half full, service was slow and inattentive. There was a complimentary bread basket served with two homemade spreads. The mixed house salads were fresh, but the main entrees were somewhat dry, perhaps over-cooked. Portions were ample, but sauces were not.

::Room is ok but not cleaning each day, empty and missing bath gel shampoo. And the sink is too high without space for personal stuff to place. The towels are not change in 4 days as they describe to protect nature. Restorant is crowed and busy but old lady waiters are offensive and when you want to order they pass you and when they finally arrives they are in rush. Food are ok but standard. After dinner your wardrobe will smell on mix food from restorant which is luck of ventilation and prepare yourself on door opening as solution. Brekfast is ok but luck of service to remove dishes from previous guests. Parking is not organized with hope the car will not damage at the morning.

::I arrived on a Sunday. Check-In was uncomplicated and easy. I was pleasantly surprised about my single-room. It was clean and had a specious bathroom and the water pressure from the shower was an absolut dream, having experienced those super-saving-shower-heads in other Hotels that only dribble. There was a bottle of Black Forest Water on a little desk with a working phone. I also loved that this room allows you to completely open the windows, unlike other places, also something annoying that I experienced in many other Hotels, but not in the Hotel Lamm. Breakfast-buffet started at 8 am and had everything to satisfy my morning-hunger. I also appreciated the awesome coffee maker, that gives you the choice of many delicious coffees, from Cappuccino and regular coffee and anything else between. There is also an in-house restaurant on the upscale side. The food is absolutely superb. I had the Wild boar and Venison Ragout, that is served with Spätzle, what are the traditional Swabian noodles, with a delicate sauce, mushrooms and a pear topped with lingonberry. The meal also included appetizers like slices of different breads, a delicate cheese herb spread and a traditional pork spread. And if you like good beer, this is heaven. They also have a cozy Bar, that is separated from the restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in any way. When management was aware, that I had to check-out early, before the Breakfast Buffet opened, they served me a pot of fresh brewed coffee at 6 am to my room, how extremely nice. Overall a very pleasant Hotel Experience. This is always going to be my Hotel in the future, if visiting that region.

::Very noisy in the morning ( from the street) - worst WIFI I have ever had in hotel. Couldn work whole the time, no support from hotel staff.

::Great breakfast with Meats, yogurt, fresh bread, and eggs and Bacon/sausage for the Americans. Beds are hard but decent and the sheets are long enough for people who are 6 feet tall. No A/C but that is normal for this region. My room had a nice balcony. Cute town too.
