::1 star for the fact that this bank is one of the few willing to be there for us in the farthest provinces. At least that's how you feel in Melsungen when it comes to banking presence. 1 more star for the attractive entrance hall and 1 star for the available parking spaces. 2 stars not achieved for the worst machines by far, the poorest touchscreens. With so much space available, setting them up so tightly is an imposition. Only since the hall was redesigned with new transfer terminals have I had to help my elderly mother with the entries. But I discovered that the problem isn't with her, but with the worst type of terminal I've ever encountered. It takes forever to make a transfer here because the touchscreen is, broadly speaking, non-functional. Some of the letters are not displayed at all, but the cursor continues to jump. You are more concerned with corrections than with the transfer. You are so restricted by the side windows that you would need an additional arm joint in your forearm to work comfortably. I am glad that I am a customer of another bank. There is also a real keyboard and their machines are regularly test winners. The transfer works in just a few moments - without errors. As long as these terrible ATMs are standard at the Sparkasse in Melsungen, I will not become a customer here.

::Always been a satisfied customer, but the service there has deteriorated. Lost my bank card and had it blocked, it was handed in at the Sparkasse am Müller and supposedly activated. When I was out in the evening and wanted to pay, the bank card didn't work and it was then confiscated at the counter. When the new card was handed to me at the bank, the employee told me everything was ok and I could use the card. When I wanted to fill up a few days later, the PIN was wrong and I couldn't pay with the card. Apparently my pin code could not be delivered to me by post. The only statement at the counter was that I could be given cash. I wanted to go on vacation where I could have paid with a card and not had to run around with cash.

::Preferably -2 stars! After forever searching through the hidden menus in online banking, I was able to find the function that allows you to order a replacement card because mine is defective. After diligently providing all the necessary information, in the last step I was asked to enter a TAN number - which of course I cannot request with a defective card. (What paradoxical irony) After several minutes in the queue, I was greeted very unfriendly and continued to be treated unfriendly throughout the phone call. When I asked or pointed out the problem with online banking, I only got the harsh answer that it was completely normal and what I would expect, after all, you need a TAN number for everything in online banking. Conclusion: Poorly thought out system but above all very unfriendly customer service!

::Zero stars if possible. You arrive here when the bank is open to find out that the “cashier” is only open until 11:00 a.m. and that you can get the money from the ATM. It doesn't matter whether the amount is enough because you might want to make a larger purchase. Service absolutely not recommended. Usually people work at 11:00 thanks for nothing.
