::My husband is in neurology ward 4.1/4.4. He is looked after in an exemplary manner here. I always have the feeling that he is in good hands, regardless of whether doctors, nurses and carers are going to extremes. Even though he is seriously ill, I don't think he could be better cared for anywhere. They do everything for him and even though his health wasn't always easy, everyone is very nice and friendly. ::We gave birth to our first child in Höxter 12 days ago, after only positive recommendations we chose Höxter and drove 50 km. I would like to give more than 5 stars because we felt so well looked after and cared for. The gynecological outpatient clinic in advance, the postpartum ward and especially the team in the delivery room, they were ALL kind, caring and everyone had an open ear for us at all times. We can wholeheartedly recommend the hospital for giving birth and are very grateful for how well everything went and how relaxed the three of us as a family were able to arrive. THANKS!

::I drove 2 hours to the hospital with my mother and brother to say goodbye to my aunt because she was in a coma in the intensive care unit. The doctor only let my mother and my brother in because only two visitors were allowed. When I said that I wanted to see my aunt one last time, I was told that I didn't have to say goodbye because she wasn't going to die any time soon. The next day my aunt died and I never saw her again. Thank you very much too!

::This review is only for the location of the clinic, not for logistics or reviews of the doctors, nurses or wards. Nor for the quality or quantity of it. The clinic is beautifully situated in the green despite being in the middle of Höxter and looks very well maintained from the outside. There is a park, walking paths and a view of the surrounding mountains from the main portal. However, there are plenty of parking spaces and a large parking deck in front of the house. A specialist center and the medical care center for radiology and nuclear medicine as well as mammography screening and the baby window are right next to the actual hospital. The pharmacy at Ansgar is also located there and everything can be reached directly from the upper parking level. There are also numerous taxis available there, so you don't have to call one first. The canteen looks a little desolate and could be made more inviting so that patients and visitors could spend longer there. In summer, however, there is also enough seating outside for drinking coffee.
