::I'm a nurse myself, but the behavior of some nurses was not acceptable at all. (But some were very nice and accommodating) Mostly sitting in the office and when you want to ask something you get annoyed. The ward management's tone towards my child was brutal. Of my son's 9 surgeries, vital signs were checked and post-op care was carried out twice. I was shocked. Furthermore, no blood was taken for 10 days, despite antibiotic therapy during which liver and kidney values had to be strictly monitored. My son's bandage was dirty and every day a different excuse was given as to why it wasn't changed. No flow of information about further treatments or operations. Every day there was a different surprise about what happened next. Surgery postponed several times without informing parents. I could list a number of things... NEVER AGAIN WINTERBERG!!!!! One star too many😡

::Yes hello and greetings, That was nothing today in the Children's Hospital SB Emergency Room Winterberg. My wife was there today with my daughter, who complains of severe pain in her ear and has difficulty hearing in the other ear. The reception staff received my wife and daughter quite rudely and said in front of my daughter that it was definitely a middle ear infection and therefore not an emergency and that a long waiting time should be expected. But just take your health insurance card to clock in. First point. Other children are given priority and taken first, even though my daughter sits there crying and the others don't. That's why my wife decided to go to another hospital, namely the Caritas Clinic and who says, a nice warm welcome and she was referred straight on to the ENT. Treated on site. This is how I personally imagine treating children. And I will report this incident to my health insurance company so that you will not receive any money for my daughter's short presence because no treatment took place. And by the way, the nurses (at reception) have no right to pronounce any diagnosis without a doctor. greeting Becker

::Why do such doctors work in a children's hospital? I was taken there with my 1 year old son because he was vomiting green all the time. The doctor didn't really take a good look at first and then sent us home. I asked if they could order a taxi for us and they said a bus would come at 6 a.m. 😤😤 unbelievable and my son was still in his pajamas and full of puke just like I was full of puke on him. I have never seen such an antisocial hospital in my life. And it wasn't our first time there. We were once simply sent home, and I didn't even want to take my son out of the stroller and the doctor said he could be examined in it. And the end of the song was I should go home and go to the pediatrician. By the way, he sent me to Winterberg because of a fall on the back of my head. It's incomprehensible that people like that are even allowed to touch children! They should be ashamed!

::One star is still too many for GYN Station 22! I was there this afternoon because I was bleeding. I'm 5 weeks pregnant. Already had two miscarriages. How do you react then? Exactly you go to the hospital. I was there for my last two miscarriages...never had any problems. Everything was listened to. But today ? Today there was a female doctor on duty because she didn't really speak German. At first she rolled her eyes when I told her when I last had my period. Then she reacted grumpily and said: It was unnecessary for you to come. I can't see anything now anyway. And I can't tell you anything better. During the examination she poked around senselessly in me, turned the screen away from me and said everything looked as it should at 5+3 but I probably wasn't pregnant. I told her that I had a positive test on Monday and yesterday. You weren't interested. She said she had already had 4 miscarriages before her son was born and she wouldn't have gone to the hospital for everything. Finally, she wished me all the best with my pregnancy. I'm horrified. Unfortunately I don't know the name. Never this doctor again. I'm so angry having to live with such uncertainty over the weekend!!!!

::I was hospitalized here for 5 days and nights with my little son. I felt in good hands from the moment I arrived in the emergency room, during the examinations and especially during the days on ward C2. I take my hat off to what the entire nursing staff does. Especially in times of Corona, which makes working conditions even more difficult. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who makes the parents' and especially the little patients' stay as pleasant as possible.
