::I am a paraplegic and came to the clinic because they could offer me a short-term surgical removal of bladder stones. During the preliminary examination, any concerns were brushed off with the words "Don't worry." I was scheduled to have surgery on April 2, 2024 at 8 a.m. On Good Friday I got a call saying I had to arrive immediately the next day because they had diagnosed MRSA and a urinary tract infection (I had pointed this out). The isolation room was not what was discussed. There was no gallows and the bathroom was far too small to accommodate the shower chair I had brought with me. My complaints were noted and efforts were being made to find a solution. They wanted to get a larger room, but that was just an announcement. On Easter Monday I pointed out that I would like to take a shower and go to the toilet before the operation. An unsuitable, ancient toilet chair was then pushed into the room. Annoyed, I applied for a pass so I could drive home in the afternoon. This was refused for insurance reasons, so I drove home on my own and was able to prepare for the operation accordingly. On Tuesday from half past seven I waited for 6 hours in my surgical shirt. Questions went unanswered. I was not only worried about the operation, but also angry because of the long wait. In addition, I could hardly lie down. At around 2 p.m. a doctor came into the room and told me that the operation had been canceled because there was too much going on. But it would work the next day. I explained to the doctor how inconvenient it was to stay in this unsuitable room and also pointed out the toilet problem. The same procedure the next day, but this time the operation was scheduled to take place at 2:15 p.m. The next cancellation followed at 2:30 p.m. There were more urgent cases, said the doctor. I had enough and left.

::I was discharged today on Wednesday after an emergency room visit on Monday. I am more than satisfied with the nursing staff, doctors and everything about it. Even if one person isn't feeling well, there are others who are even worse off due to accidents, etc. if you don't get to it straight away. Maybe some people shouldn't forget that! Urology in Oldenburg will definitely be my point of contact again if I have any complaints as I always felt like I was in good hands and cared for, a big thank you to the clinic! Uwe W.

::Very competent and friendly urology. The emergency room was perfectly organized and the treatment was good and very successful. The stay was relaxed. The care from the nurses and doctors was excellent. Thank you

::I had a necessary procedure carried out at the clinic in 2019 and always felt like I was in good hands and advised. The operation itself with local anesthesia went well and was accompanied with humor, which was very reassuring! If anything happens, I'll go back here!
