Response to the criticism from T.M.A (04.03.21): We are sorry that you were unsatisfied with our support. However, we consider your criticism to be irrelevant and incorrect. Unfortunately, despite the best treatment, a cure is not always possible in patients with blood cancer. In these difficult situations in particular, however, we see it as our duty to always remain honest and yet sensitive towards the patient. This is also appreciated by most patients and relatives, as we have received from a lot of positive feedback. We have to reject your criticism of our treatment. We are a center for blood and cancer diseases recommended by the German Cancer Society. From this it can be deduced that our patients are treated with a proven high quality. Our team includes five blood and cancer specialists who supervise and review the work of young colleagues (like the one you mentioned). If you wish, I will be happy to speak to you. With best regards, Prof. Dr. A. Kiani Reply to Mathias Knöchel (July 5th, 21st): We do not know a patient with your name, so unfortunately I cannot comment on your case. It is wrong that, as the chief physician, I have no time for statutory health insurance patients. I have time for each patient when I need it. You are welcome to contact me by phone so that we can arrange a meeting. With best regards, Prof. Dr. A. Kiani

Hello, Unfortunately, I cannot report anything positive about the outpatient or inpatient treatment. To describe the whole thing in key points: The senior physicians should be given tutoring in empathy. Conversations are very impersonal and callous. The chief doctor never has time for you unless you are of course privately insured. I find it significant when the chief doctor, who cannot even reply to emails, gives himself 5 stars in the review on Google. Unfortunately, it looks very poor for cancer patients in the city of Bayreuth with regard to competent doctors. Hence my advice to all fellow sufferers, please go somewhere else. Your matzo

I was here on St. 21 for several weeks. Overall, I have to say that I was more than completely satisfied. From the chief doctor to the cleaning staff, everyone was always friendly, courteous and considerate across the board. Whenever I had a concern or question, everything was taken care of. Everyone tried at all times to make their stay as pleasant as possible. Whenever there was a need to speak, that was Medical team, nurses and nurses always ready to talk to you, even if it is only five minutes of "small talk". Of course, I sincerely hope that I don't have to come back here - who wants that - but if I did, I would 100% choose the Bayreuth Clinic again! At this point, too, a huge thank you to everyone involved!

MVZ day station 26 and radiation therapy. Very nice doctors and nurses. The doctors listen and take the time to explain everything so that the patient / carer can understand the disease and the therapy. The sisters always have an open ear for you and do not avoid any problem, everything is tried to get it out of the world. Here you are still human and not a number. I take my hat off to the teams that, even in these difficult times, they try everything to make the outpatient stay as pleasant as possible. THANKS.

If you have a blood disorder, avoid Klinikum Bayreuth. Chemo is only run after TRY and ERROR ... The doctors have no idea and if you don't have private health insurance, you end up with a "doctor" who studied in Romania and whose specialization is actually a nefrology ... Chief doctor Kiani himself is a human lowest category. He speaks to a person who is about to die and tells him that he will die soon? In my opinion, the Bayreuth Clinic should be completely changed into a Paliative Hospital. People who want to die are welcome to visit the Bayreuth Clinic. It goes fast...
