We've always done it that way. I heard this sentence constantly during my stay. Criticism is not welcome. Anyone hoping for real help is unfortunately wrong here. The therapy program offered is the same for every clinical picture and is not very comprehensive. There is only one therapy session per week, there is no group therapy at all, instead there are lectures on topics such as stress management and emotions. For this purpose, medication is used generously; anyone who refuses this falls into disgrace and is released as quickly as possible. On the wards there is an uncomfortable dining room, where there is not space for everyone at the table at the same time, and a seating area in the hallway. The dining room also serves as a TV room. There is no possibility of withdrawing, and the minimally equipped sports room and occupational therapy are only available until 4 p.m. The rooms are typical hospital rooms and only have bright lights, so it's not nice to spend every evening there. In addition, some of the rooms do not have the option of being darkened. The stairwell and outside lighting shines in and thus contradicts the conditions for a good night's sleep mentioned in the lectures. Changing rooms is categorically rejected, you could stick a wool blanket in the window (original sound of nursing staff). The noise level is also very high in the rooms next to the kitchen, as the kitchen is also used at night and early in the morning, contrary to the rules. During my time, the seating area was always occupied by the “young adults” therapy group, who behaved loudly and engagingly there. In general, these patients have a special status. They are allowed to sleep as long as they want, do not regularly attend meals or therapy sessions and are often given one of the few single rooms. There are only 2 single rooms per ward. These are guarded like a treasure of gold and even stand empty, although traumatized patients could benefit from them. Requests for this are rejected without explanation, just as there is never an explanation why some patients are allowed to stay for up to 12 weeks and others are not given an extension despite instability after 6 weeks. This is all decided solely by the senior doctor, who obviously enjoys his power and does not necessarily make decisions based on medical considerations. Some of the staff are pleasant, but some of them are not suitable for psychosomatics due to a lack of empathy. There are even nurses who treat patients condescendingly, sometimes even on a first-name basis, and avoid any conversation. My time here did me more harm than good because, despite my unstable health, I was released without further help and immediately had a relapse. My application for an extension and subsequent stay in the day clinic had previously been rejected; I was probably too uncomfortable for the senior doctor because I openly discussed problems and did not want to take any more medication.

Grateful for everything I learned there and the professional and warm treatment and plenty of opportunities and opportunities to work on yourself. I always felt taken seriously, the nurses were incredibly nice and the doctors, occupational therapists and psychologists were also incredibly good and professional. Maybe not for everyone but it did me a lot of good.

Horrible competence from the two Polish women, including one with a doctorate title. I come from the medical field myself!!!
