I (mid-40s, male) was in the clinic for alternative cancer therapy, (03.2024) the whole stay was optimally coordinated for me, the patient was also dealt with flexibly and at short notice! The room was older but very clean (that's enough for me, the result is what counts for me)! The training rooms are all new or renovated, very pleasant! All the employees I met were very nice and helpful. My therapy was not covered by the health insurance company, but I will still plan another stay in the house if it is successful, which is still the case. There are 5 out of 5 stars for my situation, I was pleasantly surprised and a good experience in cancer therapy! Thank you for that!

The staff are all super nice and helpful, but the house itself has the charm of a youth hostel. Unfortunately, I had a room that had not been renovated, but the mattress was similar to that of a folding bed. With an additional topper, which I only found out about by chance, it worked somewhat - I was already negatively surprised in an orthopedic clinic. The shower was so tiny that the curtain stuck to me when I showered, really disgusting. Everything is very shabby and very loud for a rehabilitation clinic. The excavator was at work in the yard, and nearby, jackhammers were being used to work on an outside staircase. A completely new department was also being built on the 5th floor, and therefore construction noise could be heard throughout the building. During breaks in therapy, when I would have liked to just close my eyes for a moment, there was a knock on the room door and a cleaner plugged in her vacuum cleaner cable to vacuum the hallway. There was always action in the hallway, from 6 in the morning until the evening. After 3 weeks I was just annoyed because I never got any rest. Of course, rehab is not a cure, but here people are trying to get back on their feet after an operation - in order to stay in the working world - as the doctor so beautifully emphasizes in a TV report. Unfortunately, this doesn't work so well under the circumstances. A pity

Was in the orthopedic facility in December. My room was great, food perfect, therapists, employees in all areas were always very nice. Unfortunately the weather wasn't good enough to get to know more of the area. There were a lot of offers for entertainment, but sometimes too much old people music 😉 . What I found to be very bad and also heard from other patients was Dr. Gebert. He doesn't belong in such an institution. Many complain and perhaps action will be taken. I wish everyone who still goes to this clinic much success.

It's my first time at the Bavaria Clinic in Bad Kissingen and I'm totally thrilled from the first moment. The process up to the room is free of complications and the nurses are happy to help. The therapists are very nice and there are many new modern techniques here In addition, the clinic was renovated. The doctors are doing their best to get you completely fit again and get everything going! I can only recommend that the clinic open a ward for younger adults - from my experience there are relatively few plaster casts in Germany In the pictures a few insights into everyday therapy. I will gladly come again

simply 5 out of 5 stars. This clinic is a showcase in the field of rehabilitation orthopedics. Highly recommended for all orthopedic cases. Let’s start at the beginning of my rehab stay. One week after successful L4/L5 surgery I was referred to this clinic. My admission interview with Dr. Ullschmidt was terrific. Miss Dr. Ullschmidt takes enough time for each of her patients. I had the feeling that at that moment the only thing that mattered was me and my illness. I was able to talk to her in detail about all possible treatment steps and she gave me honest feedback at all times. I then created a therapy plan with her. During my stay I was also able to put together individual therapy options with her. That took me a whole step further. During the 4 weeks of my stay I had between 5 and 9 appointments per day. The services of the physiotherapists Pia and Benedikt should be highlighted. They supported me during the execution and also challenged me every day. Both are warm therapists who have also done a great job with manual therapy. I also had sports therapy in the clinic's MTT (gym). Denise was my direct contact here. She showed me new exercises every week and observed the execution. Here too, all therapists are friendly and helpful. I could contact you at any time if I had any questions. Other therapies that I was able to use were: water aerobics, electrotherapy, psychotherapy, ergonomics training and activity training. In addition to all the sport, the food team should not be neglected. The food was good to bombastic and didn't repeat itself within 4 weeks. Each guest can choose between 3-4 dishes for lunch and dinner. There is a large salad bar with 4 dressed salads and a green salad with dressing. There are also two soups every lunchtime. Breakfast consists of a buffet with sausage, cheese, honey, jam, rolls, fresh fruits and cereals. The guests with crutches are served at the table. The girls from the food team cater to each guest. What's still missing is the reception (very friendly), the cafeteria (always up for fun and moderate prices), the nurses (competent and helpful) and the cleaning fairies (cleaning the room 1* a day). The rooms are also a nice size and it is quiet. About the surroundings: Bad Kissingen has a beautiful old town center and tons of easy and moderate hiking trails. The shops are open late and offer a good mix of relaxation and shopping experience even on the weekend. Conclusion: 5 stars are more than justified. The clinic and everything around it is just good. Thanks to everyone who looked after me, although I hope that we no longer have to meet in the hospital environment.
