While it may not be the most vibrant neighborhood after dark, exercising caution is advisable, as with any location worldwide. Despite this minor inconvenience, the hotel's convenient location and quality accommodations more than made up for it. Overall, I would highly recommend ibis München City for travelers seeking a comfortable and hassle-free stay in Munich. With its accommodating rooms and attentive staff, it offers great value for money. Just remember to exercise common sense and caution when exploring the area at night.

::Really friendly staff. Rooms very typical Ibis, but bathroom very small. Located easy walk from train but area felt a bit shabby and did not want to go out in eve.

::Ibis Hotel Munich offered a perfect one-night stay for my early morning train departure. At 19 euros per day, leaving my car there was convenient. The rooms were basic but clean, featuring a comfortable bed, TV, and a slightly compact bathroom. The on-site bar added a pleasant touch, providing a place to relax with a beer. The friendly staff contributed to a welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal choice for a short stay close to the main station.

::We enjoyed our stay here. We initially plan to stay two nights, but needed to extend our stay by a day. The hotel staff were able to assist us with that very easily. The breakfast provided here is delicious and delightful. There are many different options available. You literally cannot make a wrong choice. The bar in the hotel is well stocked. They have a variety of drinks, and knowledgeable bartenders. I would gladly stay here again when visiting Munich.

::The location of the hotel is very good, 5 minute walk from the main train station. The staff was very friendly and they even let us check in a bit earlier than 3 pm. The room was cosy and clean, the bed was comfortable. Toiletries were provided. The bathroom however was very small, but perfectly functioning.
