  One of the oldest hotels in my hometown. My family has been staying there for decades and we are never disappointed. It's centrally located within 5 min walking of the castle and city center. It's surrounded by great resteraunts and has an excellent kitchen of its own. They also offer a wellness spa that is 2nd to none. The staff is absolutely wonderful. They are always ready to assist in any way possible. I absolutely love this hotel and will never stay anywhere else when I return home for a visit

  Nice rooms, good breakfast, good area, used several times for business trips. - no air conditioning.

  It is a lovely hotel, very kind and friendly staff, great location, near to city center, but quiet. Standard breakfast. The nicest thing I experienced is this idea- see photo. There is an open air terrace with plants and flowers. I spent four days and loved it. Thanks, Hotel Wilder Mann!

  Great pub for bicycle riders. We were lucky and had an upstairs room 3rd floor, exiting onto a rear patio, we were entertained by some goats next door. All very quiet and peaceful, the front ground floor may suffer from traffic noise. Busy breakfast, a lot of people made keeping up the buffet difficult, but it worked. Safe bike parking, quick access to the cycle path. Clean, small rooms.

  Update: I had originally rated this hotel as 3/5 stars. However, I am revising my original rating. The negative experience that changed my opinion is not mine to share. Suffice to say that the owner of the hotel was incredibly rude to my colleague. I was shocked by his behavior towards a client. It was not appropriate. Original review: Stayed here in November. The hotel is comfortable enough and located in a nice part of town. However it is nothing too fancy - at least my room wasn’t. I do hear that they have some really unique rooms with different themes, but I did not see them. Nice bar downstairs. However, the staff were not friendly or particularly helpful. Decent experience, would stay here again but cannot either recommend or discourage a guest from staying - it is okay.
