  Restaurant was very nice. Hotel room clean but be aware: booking on the website cheaper than at the front desk. Confusing as in the room there is a sign that they guarantee the lowest price at the front desk. Woman at front desk not willing to hear about it. She was aware “ I cannot do anything about it”. More than 15% difference

  We had booked a stay for 2 nights. We looked at the reviews and had very high expectations for this hotel. Unfortunately this turned out to be quite the opposite. This is NOT a 4-star hotel. The room was not ready at check-in at 15, at 16 the room still wasnt ready. The room itself was ok but the bathroom was not fully cleaned. To the main point of this review, we had booked the 4-course menu at the restaurant. The service and treatment from the headwaiter and rest of the staff was very nonchalant.The headwaiter showed us to our table and told us he would come back in a few minutes to explain the menu, after 45 minutes no one from the staff had shown up so we had to go tell them that this was not ok at all. The food itself was excellent but the service is under all critics. A message to most of the staff is to focus on your customers instead of talking to eachother about internal problems. Worst hotel & restaurant experience during our trip to Germany. Totally not worth the price.

  Very comfortable and intimate spot for dinner and drinks. Reservations summer and weekends especially recommended. Well thought out table settings outside.
