::Nice bathroom, the rest of the hotel was a bit old and very overpriced. Both the rooms and the food. The service from the young lady with glasses was amazing. I can’t say the same from what seemed to be the owners, that rushed us everywhere and weren’t very kind.

::We stayed for one night when driving back up North, coming from Switzerland. The room is really basic, old, see pictures. When checking underneath the bed there was a molded babypacifier and babybottle there from previous guests. The bathroom is basic at best. Value for money is in that sense really bad. We would not stay here again. And paying extra for a baby bed is also not something that we see as a usual surcharge. The restaurant itself is nice, good food, we had Thai food. And in the morning the service to cater for our breakfast time was also nice, although the way we were treated for being at breakfast at 7.34 instead of 7.30 was not very welcoming at all.

::The Villa Thai Restaurant is in fact two restaurants, a Thai Kitchen and a Japanese Sushi, Sashimi and Tempura Kitchen, each having their own Chef from Thailand and Japan. Food is served in beautifully styled Asian dining rooms and a fantastic terrace outside, during the summer months. To start, Villa Thai is the top Thai and Japanese restaurant in the region. Always fresh, always superb produce, prepared and cooked to perfection. No shi-shi, no cross-over, no compromise - authentic Asian cousine at its best. Many of the best restaurateurs and chefs of the region come regularly and indulge in the specialities offered. A superb and extensive wine list proves once again how well German wines go with Thai and Japanese food. The service headed by Patron Pranee Mac is impeccable, friendly and discrete. A very special meal awaits you here, situated just outside Freiburg City.

::Rooms in 80 look. Cozy and clean. The Thai restaurant which is the heart was nothing less than excelent and the service was far above average. One night for 2 with a full menu with wine below 300€. Good idea for a weekend escape.

::The restaurant is great. Delicious food, friendly service and educated on food allergies (gluten free in my case, they were very attentive all dinner around gluten for me). Highly recommended.
