  Although I ended up not staying here, I am quite satisfied with the friendly service I had today. If I have an opportunity to look for an accommodation in Essen again, I would go here! I had an emergency, so I called late at night as I was frantically looking for a place to stay for the next morning. The receptionist helped me find a room available for early check-in. Later that night, I found out that my circumstances have changed, so I called again to cancel. He was very understanding and nice, which helped me, as I was having trouble finding English speakers who understood my unusual situation. I enjoyed the pleasant chats we had and will have to miss on the opportunity to stay! This is a very convenient location to all sorts of things you may need, such as grocery stores, restaurants/bars, public transportation, and attractions.

  For a short business trip a decent place to stay. Quite narrow and the hotel could use some modernization. The room was extremely warm and the ac didn’t help much . Also very Morning at 5 a.m you can smell the food from the kitchen (not very pleasant) Breakfast itself was just fine and tasted well and fresh.

  Came here for a work trip and was pleasantly surprised at its style, elegance and quality. Very friendly reception staff and a quick and easy check in. There's complementary coffee and water available and a nice breakfast room on the ground floor. Room good with everything you need and plenty of power sockets and good quality tv and lighting. Good double shower too and nicely appointed throughout the while hotel. Lift available too.

  The facility and the location are great, most of the rooms are great, most of the staff too, but also some bad experience from time to time. A few rooms have very uncomfortable beds, inflexibility to any kind of demand from some punctual staff... But the next morning the management trying to solve all issues in a friendly way :-) Overall a very good hotel which needs a very few rooms to be revamped and commercial monitoring.
