  Oh, the impressions here are hammer hard, it's best to book somewhere else. So as a hotel specialist I say everything that can go wrong goes wrong. Then they get cheeky too. Absolutely unacceptable and quite tragic.

  Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with my stay. I found the lady at reception to be unfriendly. The first impression of the room was ok. Small but ok. Unfortunately, at second glance it wasn't so ok anymore. The door to the bathroom squeaked like something out of a scary movie. The bathroom itself wasn't cleaned in the way I would have expected. After I went to bed, I noticed that the door had a fairly large gap and the light in the hallway came on every few minutes. I helped myself by using the towels for a temporary seal. The next morning I noticed in the shower that something was missing, water pressure. Finally, a cloud of dust greeted me as I picked up my briefcase from the mini-fridge. Something positive stays in your memory. As I walked past, the breakfast looked very rich.

  I fell ill two days before the overnight stay and unfortunately 40 minutes after the deadline for free cancellation. Called the hotel to ask if a goodwill cancellation would be possible within the 40 minutes, we were told that if we booked directly with the hotel we would have been welcome to cancel immediately over the phone free of charge. In this case, the online portal we used to book had to ask the hotel whether a cancellation was possible as a gesture of goodwill. So we reported there. The next day I received information from the portal that the hotel had not agreed to the cancellation as a gesture of goodwill. They could have just told us that straight away when we called. We had no claim and would have simply accepted our bad luck, but to say “we would do it straight away” and then not agree the next day, it’s easy to feel betrayed…. and this brilliant service can only deserve one star.

  The staff is so friendly and kind, and our room was really nice! We had made a mistake and thought we had booked a hotel with a charging station for electric cars, and the owners went out of their way to make it possible for us to charge. Would definitely stay there again if life brings us to Tecklenburg in the future!

  They messed up the food, they first got us pasta with meat although they assured us that we will get pasta with a vegetarian tomato sauce. Then the gave us pasta where you could still find pieces of meat. I would not go there ever they have only two meals and none of them is really vegetarian. So if you’re veg: no if you’re not veg: no cause I’m petty right now
