It was a wonderful weekend getaway and there was really nothing to complain about. We had room 26 in the Kavaliershaus, with a closet, desk, 2 chairs and a normal bed. I don't know what others had to complain about. The ambience is fantastic and the food (half board) was extremely tasty and really sufficient every day. Every evening there was a 3-course menu with a choice between meat, fish and vegetarian. What more do you want? Yes, the area is very quiet, but we wanted that too and went for a walk. We can recommend the hotel and the staff without any restrictions.

We spent this weekend in the hunting lodge. The location and exterior is nice. After our registration, we went to our room. This left a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness. Cobwebs and spiders on the ceilings and windows and the shower partition could also be replaced. The hotel employee came after our complaint and removed the animals. In the evening we made use of our booked candlelight dinner in the restaurant. Changes to the menu were possible, but the impression that it was rather undesirable and an additional burden was not left behind by the staff. There was not a smile from the two employees on the lips, which greatly diminished the visit. Your conversations about the guests should also be held in other rooms and not where they can be heard by the guests. The employee who is on site at breakfast time is an asset to the hotel and knows how to fully concentrate on the guest. Kudos to him.

Lovely 19th-century Tudoresque hunting castle for the Hohenzollerns that's been neatly renovated and turned into a hotel. Connected with a large Lutheran church that's gorgeous (at least from the outside, the church was sadly closed). We didn't dine at the restaurant, but the menu and its prices looked very appealing indeed.

Was there for a wedding. We got food in a smaller room but it was pretty beautiful. The food was good but not extraordinary so I rate it 4/5
