  I’ve been here for dinner twice. Both my child and I enjoyed the meal with salmon very much. The waiters were patient and kind. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Hinterzarten.

  Okay rooms, weird front desk hours, absolute nightmare dining experience. 3.5 hours from soup to dessert. Mediocre food. Take a hard pass on the restaurant and eat elsewhere.

  Adequate for an overnight break in a long drive home, but not somewhere I'd rush back to. Room was large and quiet which was appreciated ,and yes, somewhat dated but ok. Breakfast was good. Location was a but strange, we went for a walk around the town and saw the train station and the church, then retired early to bed. The area seems to be heavily centred around skiing and hiking.
