  We spent in the hotel a weekend with my wife. The location is beautiful, right in the city center, really perfect. It's unfortunate that our stay started with some negative experience: we arrived in the hotel on Saturday around 11 and simply wanted to leave our luggage there. The person at the reception desk was welcoming us with "check-in from 2 only". Then she was pointing to one corner in the next room that we may leave our luggage there. When I said that that place isn't locked - literarly available by any hotel guest - she said, "then leave it in your car and lock there". Finally, she asked us where we parked. We pointed to the hotel parking place for guests. Her "nice" answer was, "move you car away from the first parking spot!" - actually, we parked on the second one. It wasn't a good introduction by the hotel. Interestingly, the same person was nice when we paid the bill in the end of our stay. Besides this, other things were good, or at least all right: the rest of the staff is very nice and friendly, the service level is good, the buffet breakfast is far above average. The rooms are small, but clean. And anyway, you visit a city like Bad Mergentheim for hiking, relaxing, wine-tasting, etc. This hotel is a good place to stay. If the person I was talking about would go through some serious customer relationship training, I would even recommend this hotel.

  Very friendly and the breakfast is outstanding for that price, the rooms are old but gold. The TV is quite small but the internet is good

  Nice place, clean and very friendly Staff. Very Good breakfast. Also it is in the middle of the wunderful town.
