  Good place, acceptable price. But the homeless were all at the entrance, which is a big inconvenience.

  The entrance looks really sketchy, especially when coming home at night. There's also no elevator and you have to go up an awkward stairway. We didn't find any mold, so it wasn't as dirty as some of the other reviews suggested, but our rooms still weren't clean. We did find ants in the bathroom and the shower was a bit broken, although still usable. Only recommendable if you come home drunk enough to instantly fall into bed. The location is perfectly suited for exactly that, though.

  Absolute con artists try taking a further 448 euros of my card for no reason and tried taking another 48 euros after we left. Not friendly. They would not let one our group in his own room because he didn't have his key on him. Just really awkward and unfriendly. Moaning about any bit of noise, even though there is two clubs under the hotel and you can hear every tune word for word until about 4am!

  Room was clean, yet it smells like stale cigarettes ( I guess you can smoke in all of the rooms although there were no ashtrays in mine). The shower was really annoying, alternating constantly between very hot and very cold water in a matter of seconds. There's no breakfast so you either have to buy something at some supermarket or go to a bakery, for that I strongly recommend Der Kiezbäcker, fairly nearby. The location is perfect for partygoers, though: right in the middle of Hamburg's red light district. Noise was not so bad on the last floor (I wasn't there on a Friday or Saturday night, my guess is it can get much worse), but the curtain didn't blackout the room properly, so the lights from the building across the street can bother a bit. All in all, you do get what you pay for and nothing more. Fine for one night, but not three like I did. Also I don't think it would be very nice to come with your lover, either.

  As the name suggests, they are trying to imitate different environments in each room. The idea is really cool, but the result is not perfect. We were staying in the classroom themed room, with a blackboard and some school stuff on the wall. The view was great on the Reeperbahn, and it was very noisy at night, which might be annoying for some people, but I loved it. For this price it was not bad, but be prepared, there's no such thing as reception or lobby, no elevators. We had to pay in a room, and we got no receipt. One morning the hallway was covered with the scattered remains of some glass shelf, which was fallen during the night. There's no breakfast option, but you can have it at the nearby McDonald's.
