  Perfect hotel especially for anyone who is in Kassel for the very first time. Hotel has extremely helpful staff. Don't have enough words to appreciate a certain staff member called Tomas and a certain lady who worked at the Reception during the 7 days that i was resident at Hotel Am Rathaus, very helpful individuals. Rooms are extremely clean with very fast free WiFi. Hotel easily accessible, just next to a train stage and the rooms are very quiet. But what i will not forget most is the extra effort the staff at the hotel put in to ensure my comfort at the hotel and the help and directions they gave me on life in Kassel. Great folks working at Hotel Am Rathaus. I just wish i could give more than 5 stars to the professional, friendly and exceedingly humble staff at Hotel Am Rathaus, they deserve 10 bright stars!

  Das Positive zuerst: Das Hotel war sauber, die Dame an der Rezeption freundlich, ABER - und darum nur den einen Stern: Ich hatte Zimmer Nr. 21 und da war an einen erholsamen Schlaf nicht zu denken. Es war extrem hellhörig, man hörte die Stimmen aus dem Nachbarzimmer, Schritte aus angrenzenden Räumen und das mit Abstand Schlimmste war, immer, wenn nachts jemand zur Toilette ging, rauschte es so laut im Abwasserrohr, welches offensichtlich ohne jeglichen Schallschutz in der Wand verbaut ist, dass man jedes Mal hochschreckte. Wenn man die halbe Nacht wach liegt, weil es im Hotel zu laut ist, dann kann man ein Hotel einfach nicht weiter empfehlen.
