::Presentation of the food is very good. It all looked wonderful upon arrival to the table, but we were not fans in the end. Well, the salad was good for the two of us that had it, though heavy on the dressing. My French fries were fine but are not an important part of an upscale dinner, in my view. The schnitzel was a bit dry, and the spicy sauce was just okay, kind of an odd topping for the schnitzel. My dad's wife said the steak she and my dad both tried was not good at all. The fried potatoes were piped into an elegant shape but were dry. My boyfriend said his three "steaks" were mediocre: beef, pork and chicken. They were served with many fries, too, along with what appeared to be a nice array of fresh vegetables. He's not a big veggie eater, so they weren't a hit for him. The restaurant is beautiful in parts, comfortably homespun in others. The server was not a friendly, cheerful sort. We did not try the desserts, but they are well displayed at the entrance and looked delicious.
